I’m so honored once again to be a part of this year’s Blogger Stylin’ Home Tour series with Lindsay from The White Buffalo Styling Company. She is such a dear friend and beyond talented and the round up of bloggers she has to inspire you through this series are equally amazing! If you’re hopping over from DIY Playbook, Welcome! <<<<< Love those ladies! I’m at the end of the tour for today, but tomorrow starts with Caitlin of Desert Domicile, recently engaged! Congrats Caitlin!!!
So I have to admit, this tour was a little difficult to put together for me this year. And not because we’re so busy or anything like that, but in all honesty I started letting the comparison monster creep into my thoughts. I started thinking of how I wished our home looked in my mind and how different that was from our reality, when seriously, I have no major issues with our reality at all. Just to make that clear.
We are SO blessed and thankful! Our downsizing journey has resulted in more than just a change of residence, but also a change of mentality, attitude, and way of life in general. It’s been a year and I still feel off kilter at times. Here is the post back to my original house makeover series for those of you new to the blog.
As for today, I’m thankful for this timely post by my friend Bre from Rooms For Rent that touches on Christmas hospitality and inspiration. I’m reminded this season that design or decorating isn’t a THING we do, but rather a way that we represent WHO we are. It makes it so incredibly enjoyable to view many different homes and tours and styles and to appreciate the uniqueness in each of them!
I hope you enjoy our little beach home spruced up for Christmas!
