Discipline. It’s as simple and as complicated as it sounds……..all in one word. Hypothetically, no one really likes discipline, but we ALL love the results that come from hard work, structure, boundaries, and being organized. As I thought about all of my goals for 2014, they all came down to this one word. Discipline. More of it, better execution of it, and the process of using it, to build good habits that will result in the life I truly want for myself and my family. I’m not going to get into any nitty gritty details, but I will say that I’m excited for this year and all of the possibilities that are awaiting all of us. If you’ve chosen a Word of the Year, I’d love to know in the comments below or via social media. #woty
Onto other business, I’m beyond honored and thrilled to continue on as a contributor for Jen at IHeart Organizing in 2014! Woohoo!!! If you know Jen, you already know how ridiculously talented and sweet she is, so to be on her team along with other ladies I admire is purely a DREAM. Someone pinch me! You can check out my posts from last year by clicking on the photos below. I have some fun and exciting ideas in the works, so be on the lookout. Better yet, go follow along with Jen and the entire team because it’s going to be a fun year together!
Also, being a pretty analytical person at heart, I found it really interesting and fun to look over last year’s statistics. By far, my most popular post EVER, which you can click on below, is my Upholstered Headboard Tips post with thousands and thousands upon thousands of people stopping by to check it out. It kind of blows my mind how many people have found this post, used the tutorial, sent me photos of their finished headboard, and so on. It’s crazy and fun and I love it! But seriously…….this post was from 2012!!! With that said, I’m definitely thinking I need to bring more tutorials your way in 2014 that are detailed and easy to follow. I’m brainstorming like crazy and can’t wait to share these projects with you over this next year!
Also looking at statistics in 2013, below are the Top 3 Most Commented On posts.
My Experience at The Haven Conference. Are you a blogger wondering if you should go??? Here’s your answer: YES! And while you’re at it, please say a prayer that our other home sells so Micahel and I can go too and hug you to pieces. Me, not him….don’t be scared. ;-) This was an amazing experience and well worth the investment! So yes, I highly recommend it.
