Happy Wednesday everyone! I can’t wait to introduce my first guest to you in this fun new series “A Little of This, A Little of That”. Kristin from Bliss at Home is kicking things off with some things she loving right now from trends to television to life in general.

Kristin is a wife and stay-at-home mom of two boys and is working at making over their home, room-by-room on a budget.

I don’t always remember how I meet all the amazing women I do in blogland, but I do actually remember how I met Kristin. I saw a comment from her on Centsational Girl, sent her a little hello, and we hit it off from there! Kristin, why don’t you live closer for coffee dates?! Lol!

Hi, I’m Kristin from Bliss at Home and it is such a pleasure to be on This, That, & Life today sharing my latest favorites!

Let’s get right to it!

Trends.

Lately, I have really been loving the patterns inspired by nature. Faux bois, zebra stripes, and big bold florals are still trending a lot. Although, I am really drawn to leopard and python right now. They just seem so rich and luxurious in decor.

Read.

Did I say read? Well, I should have said salivate! I am just loving Lonny magazine. It gives me my high-end decor fix. Notice the page I am showing you has leopard print in it too!

Watch.

I am addicted to Downton Abbey. I am so glad Season 3 is in full swing! If you aren’t watching it–do, just do. You will thank me later. You can Netflix season 1 & 2 and get caught up!

Style.

I have been enjoying casual weekend comfort lately. A lot of our weekends have involved working on our house, so if I can be comfortable and stylish at the same time I don’t feel bad about having to run to the hardware store for ” that thing we didn’t buy enough of” …again!

Life.

I am so grateful and feel so blessed with the man God has given me and my two little boys. One of my favorite moments as of late, has to be our Saturday mornings. With winter and snow, we have really been enjoying our home. Saturday mornings have consisted of lots of coffee and sitting by the fire together while our two boys play and laugh. It is* in my mind* the perfect way to spend a morning.

Fun to read what Kristin is into right now! I have not even touched Downtown Abbey, but I keep hearing about it! I guess I’ll have to cave and check it out.
