Highlights of 2012 ~ it was quite a year!

The year of 2012 was a bit of a whirlwind with many blessings and trials along the way. It was a year of change, discovery, growth, and fun! It’s interesting to look back at how life has unfolded and reflect as we begin 2013! I have met SO many of you through this blog and the friendships we’ve made are so special to me, they literally just make my heart sing ~ I’m so lucky to have such sweet people come and visit my blog and I hope that this next year will bring a lot of your way through This, That and Life!

At the end of last year, I was blogging under the name RustiChic, but I knew that I was headed toward a change. When I was contemplating which direction to go, I was literally blessed to cross paths with Kimberly of My Whole Heart Design, who worked with me to do a complete overhaul on my blog. People….she.was.a-MAZ-ing!!! I’m telling you right now – if you’re looking for a web or print designer, I highly recommend her (and that’s pure love right there!) So, the name changed, everything was transferred from blogger to wordpress, and I was able to expand into more topics that are important to me and what I’d love to share with all of you.

It’s crazy looking over all the these projects and special moments, and realizing that these all happened this year. It was a big year with our 10 year anniversary and turning 30, kids entering into school, and a ton of fun projects! I hope you find some of these to be helpful, inspiring, or relatable.

In a year where I felt like God was navigating me through many unknowns and reminding me to trust in Him, it’s been amazing to see how it has all worked together ~ even looking back a couple years ago, it’s amazing to see the results of life decisions.
